School Culture
At Buckland-Shelburne Elementary (BSE), we set high expectations for all students, not only as learners but also as thinkers, problem solvers, and citizens.
We acknowledge and celebrate our students’ achievements, while also teaching perseverance and resilience. At BSE, children learn to work hard and to love learning.
The Extras
Our arts and athletic opportunities are enhanced by a range of after-school programs and workshops. These vary depending on student interest, but have included such offerings as foreign language instruction, arts and crafts, bowling, and environmental studies. Older students (grades 4–6) can also choose to learn an instrument or participate in the student chorus.
